Excerpts from the quarterly letter:<\/p>\n

“Dear Brothers and Sisters and friends around the world.<\/p>\n

Greetings in the name of our wonderful Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Trusting all of you are doing well in such a time as this. Due to the Corona virus, it is truly a trying time right now for all of us. In January of this year, my left leg started swelling and there was some pain, but not too bad. I thought it would be alright but my dear wife insisted I go to the doctor, so I did. I found out that it was a blood clot. The doctor ordered me a salve treatment for me to use eight times a day for three weeks. Praise the Lord that took care of it! Sometimes, when it comes to going to the doctor, I am a bad procrastinator. Believing it has to be so bad you can\u2019t stand it before you go to the doctor. I believe that in my generation there are many who were raised to think like that. I turned 65 this year. I am officially a senior citizen here in Sweden. I thank the Lord for my dear wife who insisted that I go to the doctor. I also ask you to please pray for Masayo. She is in the high risk group with her bad asthma. I learned today that Sweden has the highest death rate in Europe per capita. My mother was isolated for a week because of the suspicion she might be infected by the Corona virus. They found out it was regular diarrhea. Her dementia is progressing at a fast rate and she is getting harder to take care of. Please pray with me as I try to do the best I can to take care of my mother but also to be very careful for Masayo\u2019s sake<\/p>\n

“Dear friends,<\/p>\n

Gwen and I are so very thankful and humbled by the prayers and financial support over the years. We have had so many conversations about the blessings and encouragement that you guys have been and many times the blessings have brought us to tears. This is one of those times, as I share with you that we have ceased the activities at Lighthouse Independent Baptist Church (Mission) effective 3 May.<\/p>\n

Over the years, the Lord has brought us precious families and individuals to minister to and we are so very thankful to the Lord for the blessings that have been shared and particularly for your coming alongside us. We are forever grateful.<\/p>\n

I also want to thank our Pastor Will and Bodine Baptist Church for their faithfulness throughout these years and the warm welcome we have received back and to be used of the Lord there.<\/p>\n

As the Lord lays us on your heart please pray for Gwen and I, as we wait on the Lord\u2019s guidance on any future area of ministry.<\/p>\n
