Pastor’s Perspective
Today’s sermon is focused on the blessing of having true friends in our life and our call from God to share the Great Light of God with our friends. As expressed in the song little children have sung for years, “This Little Light of Mine,” we should let our light for Jesus shine for all our friends to see.
Member’s Opportunities
Continuing in Prayer
For our missionaries around the world, especially for Brother Rey Dove, our missionary to Northwest OKC, Lighthouse Independent Baptist. Pray for 7 more families by the end of 2014 with view of organizing into an indigenous, self-supporting church.
All-church work morning
Saturday, September 28 – 8:00 a.m.
General Fall cleanup, flower planting, shrub trimming, chain saw, mowing, etc. Bring tools needed for this work. Hot lunch served at noon.
5th Sunday Praise & Fellowship Service-Sept. 29, 6:00 p.m.
Ladies Fellowship – Tuesday, September 24th at 6:30 in the fellowship hall! We will be making something special for ourselves and one to give away! Bring a scripture of encouragement to share. Hope you can make it! All Ladies & girls are invited!
