Summer with all of its activities is just around the corner. The coming of our new pastor affords each of us new opportunities to step up for the Lord and Bodine Baptist Church. May each one ready our hearts and life’s to put forth a renewed effort as Bro. Ramirez leads us forward.
Pray earnestly for the Ramirez family as they make preparations to move to Oklahoma. They are working diligently to get their house ready to sell. Pray earnestly for the sale of it. Their excitement is very high and they are impatiently waiting to be here with us.
Also remember our 70th Anniversary coming up on Sunday, June 14th. With our new pastor, Bro. Karl and their families here, it will be a very wonderful time in the Lord. Our future looks bright!! In His Love, Bro. Dwight
We are currently taking up 2 Special Love Offerings!
Bro. Karl Andersson & family will be traveling to Oklahoma and then on to their new mission field, Sweden. We would like to help them with airfare costs.
We would also like to help Bro. Randy Campbell. His roof was recently damaged by a tornado and he has no insurance to help with the needed repairs.
Please pray about what the Lord would have you to give!
Looking Ahead:
- Bodine’s 70th Anniversary! We will celebrate Sunday, June 14th beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Will Ramirez, our new pastor, and Bro. Karl Andersson will be our speakers!! We will have a cook out and games after morning service. Sign-up list for attendance and food is in the foyer. No Evening services
- T-Shirts on sale for our 70th Anniversary – See Sign-up sheet, Cost $10
- Camp Masterson – June 15-19, 2015 This is a family camp for all ages! Cost is $85 for ages 6 & up. If you are interested in being an adult sponsor please see Bro. Dwight. See Karen Cox to sign-up.
